Welcome to the ICE Future Engineers Scheme

We are committed to providing events and activties to engage with students, to spread knowledge and awareness of the engineering profession.

Future Engineers Scheme (FES)

The scheme aims to engage an inspire school children of all stages in education, to consider engineering as an interesting and achieveable career possibility. The scheme does this by working to increase their awareness and understanding of engineering through a series of interactive workshops and presentations.

If you wish to get your school involved in this free scheme, or want to find out more, please get in touch at fes.pre19@gmail.com

Teaching Pack

We have developed a range of teaching resources to help you to deliver engineering themed sessions in the classroom. We've tried to keep these resources in line with current best practice for lesson plans. We currently have 4 available for you to use. if you wish to explore the use of them, just get in touch and we will email them over to you.

Competitions

Each year we run our flagship schools competition called #ICanEngineer. Every year we challenge students to get creative and work in small teams to design something that will solve a problem in London. In 2016 the theme was a new Thames crossing , in 2017 we focused on what we could do with another tunnel system and this year we're asking students to design a new transportation system in London!
